We aim to dispatch all in-stock UK orders received before 13:00 on the same working day. Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday when couriers collect from us. Orders placed after 13:00 cannot be guaranteed for same-day dispatch.
All bikes are flat-packed for safe shipping and require professional assembly once delivered for any warranty to remain valid.
Important: Larger bikes (24 inch wheels or larger) are sent via APC Non-Conveyable Service due to size and cannot be dispatched the same day.
UK Delivery Services
Standard Delivery
- Royal Mail Tracked 48 – 2–3 working days (parcels up to 2kg)
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 – Next working day aim (Mon–Sat delivery)
- Parcels over 2kg are sent via APC Overnight (Mon–Fri delivery)
- Saturday delivery available at checkout for an additional charge
Tracked delivery information is emailed once your order has been dispatched.
Bike Delivery
- 18 inch bikes or smaller – APC Overnight
- 20 inch bikes or larger – APC Non-Conveyable
- 24 inch wheels or larger – APC Non-Conveyable due to size
- All bikes carry a shipping charge
Ready2Ride Service
Available for bikes with 22 inch wheels or smaller. Dispatch takes 2–3 working days due to Pre-Delivery Inspection. Delivery typically takes an additional 2–3 working days.
This service is not available for bikes 24 inch or larger.
Special Order Items
Some items are marked as Special Order. These items are not physically in stock but available from our supplier. Purchasing a Special Order item will delay dispatch of your entire order.
If an item becomes unavailable, we will contact you via email and offer alternatives where possible. Please check your inbox and junk folder.
Delivery Address Policy
The delivery address must match the billing address. If you require delivery to a different address, we recommend using PayPal as your payment method, which allows alternate shipping addresses.
Courier Terms & Delays
Royal Mail
- Tracked 24 – Aim to deliver within 1 working day
- Tracked 48 – Aim to deliver within 2–3 working days
- Delivery times are not guaranteed
Control BMX does not accept responsibility for delays caused by Royal Mail or courier services. Goods will be delivered at the next available opportunity.
APC Overnight
Orders over 2kg are sent via APC Overnight. Larger bike boxes are sent via APC Non-Conveyable.
Although APC aims for next business day delivery, delays may occur. Shipping costs are non-refundable due to courier delays.
Working days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. Orders placed after close of business on Friday will be processed Monday.
International & European Orders
International orders may take 2–3 working days for dispatch due to manual booking requirements.
We use reputable couriers such as UPS, FedEx, DHL and others depending on destination. Tracking information will be emailed once dispatched.
Import Duties & Taxes
Due to Brexit and international regulations, import tax and duty may be charged when goods enter your country.
Control BMX ships Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU). Any VAT, duties or customs clearance charges are the responsibility of the buyer.
If customs charges are not paid, the parcel may be returned and the original shipping fee will not be refunded.
